Mrs. Nina May Floyd Park, 89, of Beeville, died on Monday, June 2, 2008.
She was born Dec. 6, 1918, near Spring Creek in Parker County, to Ruth Patterson and William H. Floyd. She graduated from school in Azle in 1936, and married Arthur Park on April 10, 1940. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and was a member of the Business & Professional Women’s Club for 30 years where she held all offices and served as president for four terms. She was also active in the Lions Club for a number of years, serving one term as president.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Arthur Park, in August 1970.
She is survived by one daughter, Nellie Bea Boenig and husband J.H. “Buckshot” Boenig of Beeville; two grandchildren, Michael Carpenter and Elizabeth Carpenter; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Galloway & Sons chapel. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Traylor officiating. Interment followed at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Johnny Bond, Kevin Kruger, Tom Palmer, Jack Stewart, Jesse Treviño and Michael Young.

Mr. Treviño
Mr. Arturo M. Treviño, 82, of Port Lavaca, formerly of Beeville, died on Thursday, June 5, in a Port Lavaca Hospital.
He was born on Sept. 16, 1925, to Onesimo and Francisca Treviño.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Olivia Treviño; daughter, Lupe T. Garcia; two brothers, Reynaldo and Domingo Treviño; one sister, Eliza Perez; and his parents.
He is survived by three daughters, Cissy Treviño, Janie (Allen) Flores and Minnie (Ubaldo) Moralez; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tomas (Eva) Treviño and Deacon Luis (Alicia) Treviño; and one sister, Gloria (Edward) Perales.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Port Lavaca. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 10 a.m. Monday.
Arrangements were entrusted to Robinson Colonial Funeral Home in Port Lavaca.
