Lillian Agnes Fojtik Baylor, 90, died on Monday, Dec. 31, 2007.
She was born on Oct. 9, 1917, in Flatonia to Philomena Novak and Joe Fojtik. She married Jack Baylor in Beeville on July 5, 1942. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was also a member of St. Joseph’s Altar Society and KJZT lodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 62 years, Jack.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Bob Baylor of Bacliff; her daughter, Frances Shepherd and husband Wayne of Beeville; four grandchildren, Brandon Williford and wife Clarissa of Victoria, Amber Williford of Beeville, Rob Roy Baylor and wife Christy of Pearland, and Dr. Trey Baylor and wife Lisa of LaPorte; her great-granddaughters, Sadie and Trinity; her great grandson, Logan; and special friend and caregiver, Laura Hand of Bacliff.
Visitation was to be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited there at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today (Saturday) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Patrick Donohoe officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Michael, Pat, Tim and Joe Fojtik, Rocky Gold and Alan Walker. Honorary pallbearer will be Gilbert Gregorczyk.

Mrs. Crawford
Carol Crawford, 58, of Three Rivers died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008.
She was born on Jan. 20, 1949, in Jacksonville to Edna Durham and James Billings. She received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Houston. On July 7, 1972, she married Howard Crawford in Richmond. She was a retired teacher for Three Rivers Independent School District and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Three Rivers.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Col. Jimmie Billings.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Crawford of Three Rivers; two daughters, Melina Johnson and husband Robert of Three Rivers and Linda Truman and husband David of Shiner; four grandchildren, Megan and Madeline Johnson and Courtney and D.J. Truman; one brother, John Billings and wife Cindy of La Porte; and one sister-in-law, Debbie Billings of San Antonio.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Saturday) at First United Methodist Church in Three Rivers.

Mrs. Shaw
Rosemarie Shaw, 59, of San Diego died on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, after many years of battling Huntington’s Disease.
She was born in Beeville, and became a San Diego resident 43 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben Lozano; her mother, Irene Lozano; and her sister, Rachel Trevino.
Survivors include her husband, David Shaw; twin sister, Rebecca Sotelo; six children, James St. Onge, Brooke Jacobs, Deanine Dolphin, Todd St. Onge, Misty Oto and Ashley Shaw; and nine grandchildren.
A private memorial service was held in San Marcos, Calif., on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America at HDSA.org or 1-800-345-HDSA.
Arrangements were entrusted to American Cremation Service in Carlsbad, Calif.
