Bishop
Sandra (Pieper) Bishop, 68, of Crestview, Fla., formerly of Beeville, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008. She was born Sept. 23, 1939, to Arthur B.E. and Robbie Pieper.
Mrs. Bishop was the owner/operator of Therapeutic Touch Massage and Reflexology and was a member of the American Massage Therapist Association, Texas Nursing Association and Ladies Auxiliary VFW 9170.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Leah Richelle Smith; her husband, Edsel M. Bishop; and her parents, Arthur B.E. Pieper and Robbie Pieper.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna L. Gibson of Beeville; Kimberly A. Davis of Crestview, Fla., and Lana (John) Garner of Kingsland, Ga.; two sons, Marshall (Sunny) Bishop of Gilmanton, N.H. and John (Vicky) Bishop of Virginia Beach, Va.; one sister, Lynn (Frank) Brooks of Beeville; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, at First Baptist Church of Garden City in Crestview, Fla., with Pastor Dennis Robinson officiating.
A memorial service will also be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Beeville, with Father Adrian Amaya officiating.

Ramon
Isidro A. Ramon, 77, of Beeville, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008. He was born Dec. 11, 1930, to Trinidad and Fermana (Almaguer) Ramon in Beeville. He married Rachel Garza on July 22, 1950, in Beeville. He was a retired carpenter and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Visitation was held Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o’clock. A funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Eddie Garcia officiating. Burial followed in the Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Andrew Wessels, Raul Ramon, Roland Ramon, Randy Ramon, Freddy Rodriguez, Manuel Ramon Jr., Adam A. Ramon and Ramon Ramon.
Honorary pallbearers were Justin A. Ramon, Adrianna Garza and Vanessa Ramon.
Mr. Ramon was preceded in death by two sons, Henry G. Ramon and Isidro G. Ramon Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel G. Ramon of Beeville; three sons, Maximo G. (Olga) Ramon, Joe Ramon and Daniel Ramon, all of Beeville; a daughter, Nelda J. (Ram) Garza of Beeville; a daughter-in-law, Sylvia O. Ramon of Beeville; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Manuel Ramon of Beeville and Trino Ramon and Monseis Ramon, both of Rockport; and a sister, Mary Wessels of Beeville.

Rodriguez
Santos (Garza) Rodriguez, 88, of Normanna died Thursday, July 31, 2008. She was born on April 2, 1920, to Ysa and Dionicia (Lopez) Garza in Bee County. She married Manuel Rodriguez in Normanna on March 25, 1958. She was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pettus.
Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Manuel Rodriguez in 1994; three sisters, Isabella Del Bosque, Manuella Saenz and Juanita Flores; and one brother, Luis L. Garza.
Survivors include a sister, Maria Abrigo of Normanna her caregiver, Deffy Garcia of Beeville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A Rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o’clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated today (Saturday) at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Normanna.
Pallbearers will be Isaias Del Bosque, Jimmy Abrigo, Felix Abrigo, Lupe Saenz, Enrique Saenz and Ysidro Del Bosque.
